Reply with your picks for the 2016 Open Championship. A little different twist this time, Please choose 1 past champion, one player making their debut (d), and 2 other players of your discretion. The lowest score gets a REP from me. Please reply by 10:00 PM Wednesday 7/13/16 EST. A Sample Roster would look like this:

1) Todd Hamilton (past champ)
2) Scott Gregory (making debut)
3) Jordan Spieth (discretionary player #1)
4) Jason Day (discretionary player #2).
Again, any players missing the cut simply get +10 added to there score.

Beautiful weather at Troon...highly unusual for Scotland. 1st round still underway, but check your roster for errors.

Stunning first day scoring across the pond at Royal Troon. Past champion Phil Mickelson barely missed on a historic round of 62, never posted in a major before. Our little challenge has billyjay way out in front with his fine picks, especially debut pick of Tony Finau. Close behind is RockR, and then dark1p, who admittedly knows nothing about any of the players he selected. Here is the complete round 1 standings

Round 2 looked more like a British Open, wind, cold, raining which resulted in a huge shakeup on the our leaderboard yesterday. Oosthuizen shooting a dreadful 83, and Justin Rose also with a poor performance shooting 77 really hurt their owners in the second round. Billyjay still leads despite owning Rose this week. Full round 2 results with the CUT penalties assessed is below.

What a fantastic final round. Congrats to our Champion Billyjay who correctly predicted the 40-1 champion as well as the lowest previous champ. Rep point coming your way!
